Description
The American Diabetes Association of Central Iowa invites you to the 2017 Community Event and Walk. Take part in this free educational experience by visiting the exhibitors at the Wellness Expo, listen and ask questions during the state of diabetes and healthcare panel discussion, participate in the walk, and have fun at the Kids Zone. Donate $30 to receive the 2017 commemerative Stop Diabetes t-shirt. Event Schedule 9am: Check in/Registration 9am-10:00am, 11am-11:30am: Wellness Expo (closes during panel discussion), Kids Zone, & light breakfast 10:00am-11:00am: Panel discussion—New in 2017! - Dr. Bhargava (IDERC/My Diabetes Homes), Dr. Khoo (IDEC), Dawn Gustofson (IDEC, CDE), Dr. Wendy Mobley-Bukstein (Drake Pharmacy), others TBA 11:00am-11:30: Walk to Stop Diabetes®
