Earth Day Trash Bash

Description

Volunteers are needed for Iowa's largest Earth Day volunteer event! Last year, 1,565 people registered to remove over 40,000 pounds of litter, brush, tires, and recyclables. They even collected 20 pounds of cigarette butts!

• 12:00-1:00 Kick-Off Bash/Team Rally (Cowles Commons, 221 Walnut St.)
  Gather your team for food, music by Damon Dotson, educational booths 
• 1:00-1:30 Commute to Assigned Site, Group Photo & Safety Talk
• 1:30-4:30 Earth Day Volunteer Projects (Greater Des Moines Metro Area)
• 4:30-5:00 Clean-up, Collect Tools/Supplies, Post-Project Photos & Award Submissions
