Erin will be sharing her journey of quitting her full time job to stay home and focus solely on blogging. She will explain how a weekly update of fun things to do in Des Moines with her kids, led to the number one resource for parents in central Iowa, opportunities to explore the Midwest, and much more including publishing her book 100 Things to Do in Des Moines Before You Die.
Erin Huiatt, Owner of Des Moines Parent and Author of 100 Things to Do in Des Moines Before You Die
Erin Huiatt is the owner of Des Moines Parent, President of FemCity Des Moines, and published author of 100 Things To Do in Des Moines Before You Die. Through her ownership and leadership of these companies, she connects families and women of the Des Moines community. In addition, she also sits on the board for the Des Moines Children’s Museum and sits on the Board of Directors for the Grimes Chamber & Economic Development. When she is not networking or writing, you can find her wearing her mom hat running kids to and from activities, exploring all the things Des Moines and the Midwest has to offer, and traveling.
