Melisa Beede TOPIC: Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation Kellie Markey spent 15 years building a career as a global marketing and business development executive. In 2012 she took a month to walk the 625 mile long Camino de Santiago. When she paused to take a breath, volunteerism, and foster parenting provided her an acute view into the nature and severity of abuse against children in her community. She tripped over a home that guided her down the path toward what she felt like she spent her whole life preparing for. She purchased and renovated the homes that make up Dorothy's House campus.
