TOPIC - ”Online Fundraising During a Pandemic” Amanda Nuzum, Vice President / Chief Development Officer for Blank Park Zoo will be speaking about online fundraising tips for nonprofits, as well as how Blank Park Zoo was able to successfully raise funds during a time of global crisis.
PRESENTER - Amanda Nuzum, Vice President / Chief Development Officer for Blank Park Zoo, has been in the nonprofit management and fund development industry for more than 15 years. She has helped raise money and raise the profile of organizations such as the Young Women’s Resource Center, American Cancer Society, Easterseals, and ABI, as well as higher education institutions like the ISU Foundation and Simpson College. She has raised funds through events, individual and corporate giving, major gifts, planned giving, online giving and membership campaigns.
As VP/CDO of Blank Park Zoo, Amanda assists with the overall management and leadership of the organization, as well as managing all public and private events, Zoo membership, and Zoo fundraising.
Born and raised in Des Moines, Amanda grew up with Blank Park Zoo and is honored to serve the mission of a place she has loved her entire life.
