Description
Long-range planning creates a clear vision of the future that can unite staff, board, and supporters. But in a world that seems to change by the moment, leaders must also understand the value of short-term planning and real-time flexibility. This session will examine the difference between the two types of planning and the basic elements needed to bring mission success.
Dan provides consulting services to numerous nonprofits, NGOs and governmental organizations throughout the U.S. and abroad. He works with organizations of all sizes and types, from universities and hospitals to small and mid-sized nonprofits.
Dan has an extensive background in nonprofit leadership and higher education.
He was the founder and executive director of the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at Drury University (Springfield, MO) and continues to serve as the program's lead instructor. Dan is a frequent speaker at conferences and workshops across the Midwest. He has a Master's from Drury University and a Bachelor's from Evangel University.
