Trust is at the heart of every relationship, and it’s especially critical today in our virtual world. In the workplace, the primary factor affecting employee turnover is whether or not a trusting relationship was developed between the manager and the employee. In this session we will discuss techniques to build trust virtually that result increased engagement, creativity, and commitment.

Presented by Todd McDonald. Todd has been a community and business leader for over 30 years. In 1998, McDonald founded his own training and development firm, ATW Training Solutions, Inc. The ATW team of 15 individuals provides award winning, tailored training solutions to clients on a local, national and international basis. Todd is also owner of New Horizons Computer Learning Center of Des Moines. Todd has authored two books: one on communication between managers and their employees, "I Wish You Would Just..." and the other on time management, "How to Find 100 Extra Minutes a Day." Currently McDonald serves on the Board of Directors for the Iowa Association of Business and Industry, Waukee Betterment Foundation and Urbandale Chamber of Commerce.
