Young Variety Charity Date Auction

Find your Valentine early this year at the 8th annual Young Variety Charity Date Auction! This year's auction is Saturday, Feb. 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Jasper Winery with all proceeds benefiting Variety - the Children's Charity. The evening's main event is the date auction. Ten to 20 of the most eligible guys and gals from around Des Moines will be on the auction block and each will have a special date planned for the highest bidder. Past dates include dinner and rock climbing, cooking classes, dinner and ice skating and other adventures. Fun fact, the auction has had several date success stories, including a marriage! For those who are off the market, there is still plenty for you to bid on. The event will also host a silent auction featuring several vacation packages. Our emcees will auction various date packages and/or experiences to the highest bidder to use with whomever they choose. Admission is $15 and can be purchased in advance or at the door. Admission includes light appetizers and the opportunity to bid. Wine and beer are available for purchase.
