Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Up to 15 Hours per week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our team with administrative tasks and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This is a part-time role requiring 5 to 15 hours per week, ideal for someone proactive, reliable, and skilled at managing multiple responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain the Chamber Master Calendar of Events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Reach out to speakers and other contacts to gather required information for calendar updates.

  • Follow up on emails directed to you by Lisa or Anne, ensuring prompt and professional responses.

  • Social Media and other posting for events, such as FB calendar, and CatchDSM.

  • Assist in preparing presentations and other materials as needed.

  • Organize and maintain digital and physical files, records, and documents.

  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.

  • Manage data entry, update databases, and ensure information accuracy.

  • Coordinate and track projects or tasks to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Support event planning and logistics for team or community events.

  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Professional and positive demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Chamber Master or similar event management systems. (can be trained)

  • As for the Chamber Master willing to learn, find solutions, and seek guidance.

  • Experience with scheduling tools, CRM systems, or project management software.
