Position Overview: Key Responsibilities: Update and maintain the Chamber Master Calendar of Events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Reach out to speakers and other contacts to gather required information for calendar updates. Follow up on emails directed to you by Lisa or Anne, ensuring prompt and professional responses. Social Media and other posting for events, such as FB calendar, and CatchDSM. Assist in preparing presentations and other materials as needed. Organize and maintain digital and physical files, records, and documents. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as needed. Manage data entry, update databases, and ensure information accuracy. Coordinate and track projects or tasks to ensure deadlines are met. Support event planning and logistics for team or community events. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications: Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Professional and positive demeanor. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Chamber Master or similar event management systems. (can be trained) As for the Chamber Master willing to learn, find solutions, and seek guidance. Experience with scheduling tools, CRM systems, or project management software.
