Residential Lead Remodeler

SUMMARY:
Residential Leads are skilled and experienced supervisors who are responsible for working side by side with the crew. Leads must be able to motivate and train others to work to their fullest God given potential. Leads are responsible for the project, the performance of the crew and to ensure that the scope of the project is well carried out and the project stays within time and budget. Leads are responsible for communication with the customer and keeping them informed of any changes in the project and the progress of the project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, carpentry, drywall, painting and minor electrical and plumbing. Preferably in a supervisory or lead position.
  • The ability to evaluate a project and write up estimates.
  • Assess job priorities to assign them to appropriate job sites.
  • Knowlege of safety precautions and make sure they are being followed.
  • Perform all necessary remodeling and handyman projects both individually as well with other team members.
  • Give clear directions to techs as to what needs to be done to avoid mistakes.
  • Ensure tools and supplies like sprayers, ladders, and traps are brought back from job sites.
  • Evaluate the quickest and easiest ways to complete a project without sacrificing quality of the work being done. 
  • Leads should have good managerial skills.
  • Leads should have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must speak and write using proper English.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening. 
Compensation & benefits:
  • Full-time position requiring a minimum of 35 to 40 hours per week. This position may require this individual to work Monday through Friday 8am to 5:30pm. Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per/week.
  • Company vehicle is provided.
  • The pay scale is between $22 to $30/ per hour. Based on proven experience.
