GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Program Specialist oversees the implementation of BGCA and other approved programs as well as the design and evaluation of locally designed programs targeted primary for school age children and/or teens. The P.S. oversees the curriculum development and outcome management of these programs. They ensure proper staffing, training, equipment, and support of all programs in designated Club site. The Youth Development Professional will work with members to facilitate their personal, social and educational development to enable them to gain voice, influence, and place in society as they make the transition from dependence to independence.
